Prior to joining the crypto asset management industry, Cici had over 10 years of institutional banking career, specifically in Investment Banking, FI & FX trading across 4 continents.

Cici has been following blockchain technology since 2018 combined with her ESG knowledge from the recent assignment at BNP Paribas in 2021, she has a unique perspective on crypto assets as tools to enable UN Sustainable Development Goals.

She is also an ardent advocate for Blockchain applications in philanthropic management at the Association of Family Office in Asia.

Shen Li is a Managing Director based in State Street Bank Hong Kong office. He heads up State Street Global Markets China and oversees IndirectFX and StreetFX businesses for State Street Bank and Trust, Asia Pacific. Shen’s expertise sits in Emerging Markets trading and operations. He was extensively engaged in setting up China Stock Connect, Bond Connect, CIBM Direct related RMB-FX settlement and hedging solutions. He also set up the FX Sales & Trading business in China for State Street Global Markets in 2021. Shen took the lead in growing State Street’s FX market access in Korea, Taiwan, India, and Vietnam. Prior to his current position, Shen has held eFX, FX Options trading, and FX research roles in Boston, London, Sydney, and Hong Kong. He has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from The University of Chicago, and a Mater Degree in Quantitative Finance from Bentley University.

Irene Lee is the former Head of Macro APAC at RBC. She has nearly two decades of trading and business management experience, which spans through EM and G10 markets. She has played a key role in increasing the profitability of RBC’s FX businesses in the APAC region. Prior to that, she was a Senior EM Trader and Managing Director at Standard Chartered Bank where she led the CNH and North Asia Offshore Rates Trading businesses. In the earlier years, she was a Rates Trader at Goldman Sachs and traded USD Fixed Income for Barclays New York. She held a Master degree from the University of Chicago with a concentration in Econometrics and Statistics.

Michael Rothlin is the Co-Founder, Managing Director of the new 2023 White Elk Macro Hedge Fund launch, based in Hong Kong. Michael has 25 years markets experience, most of which leading various trading teams across the Asia region with focus on FX and Rates products. He has extensive knowledge and experience running both significant client flow businesses and discretionary risk-taking businesses across G10 and EM markets. Prior to the new Hedge Fund launch, Michael was most recently at HSBC based in Hong Kong where he was Regional Head of G10 FX and Short End Rates Trading. In addition, also held prior roles across the region at Société Generale, Barclays, ABN Amro and NM Rothschild.

Cora Chiu is a managing director in HSBC private bank and works as North Asia Head of Foreign Exchange and commodities advisory. She leads a team of advisors to deliver foreign exchange and precious metals advices, hedging solutions and execution for UHNW clients and global family offices. Cora started as treasury advisor from corporate bank. After that, she moved onto investment bank and private bank to cover FX clients. Before she joined HSBC, she headed the APAC FX advisory in Citi Private Bank and Hong Kong FX advisory in UBS AG Private Bank. Cora holds a Master degree of Financial Engineering from the University of Hong Kong For Bachelor degree, she graduated from the Unversity of Texas at Austin with three majors: actuanal science, economics and Japanese. She s a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). She is also a certified private wealth professional (CPWP) certified by the PWMA. In her career, she is aspirated to build the FX desk by combing technology, AI and big data management for more precise advisory, enhance dealing efficiency and increase markets trading volume.

Eva is the head of eFX trading at Bank of China (HK) Ltd. Eva is responsible for setting the strategic vision and drive innovative electronic trading development. Her team also looks after the CNH Futures business.

Prior to joining Bank of China (HK) Ltd in 2016, Eva was with RBS where she was the e-commerce salesperson covering North East Asia across all client sectors. Before that, Eva was with HSBC where she started her career in the banking industry.

Gordon Tsui is a seasoned bond fund manager with more than two decades of financial market experience. He previously led the fixed income team at Taikang Asset Management (Hong Kong) and managed the USD bond portfolio of Taikang Insurance Group Inc. Prior to this role, Gordon was Deputy Chief Investment Officer of Hang Seng Investment Management and Lead Fund Manager of Hang Seng RMB Bond Fund, which won the “Best in Class” award in 2014 for “RMB Bond” category in Hong Kong by Bloomberg Businessweek. Gordon obtained first class honours degree in Economics from the LSE on Sir Edward Youde Scholarship awarded by Hong Kong SAR Government. He stationed in New York as Representative of Hong Kong Monetary Authority between 2001 and 2004.

Becky joined the bank in 2012 and is currently Managing Director, Head of China Macro Strategy, Global Research. Her team is responsible for the Greater China macro strategy research. Her focus areas include the CNY and HKD FX, interest rates and the broader fixed income markets. She has been ranked #1 regional local currency research strategist each year since 2015 by the Asset Magazine’s investor poll. Prior to this role, Becky worked as an Asian credit strategist at HSBC.

Lin Li is Managing Director, Head of Global Markets Research Asia. Lin is responsible for MUFG’s research views on Asia economics and foreign exchanges. Lin started her career in financial industry as a China economist and Asian FX strategist at Wellington Management in Boston. After that, she held various senior research positions including senior China economist in an investment bank, Chief China economist in a commodity trading company, and most recently she was Chief economist and Head of asset allocation strategy research in a Chinese Wealth Management company before she joined the MUFG. 

Gary Lo is the Head of Offshore China Trading at Crédit Agricole CIB. Based in Hong Kong, he is responsible for the Bank’s offshore China FX, rates, government bond, Swap Connect and Bond Connect programs. Mr. Lo has spent the past 6 years trading offshore China FX and Rates products in Crédit Agricole CIB. Prior to joining the Bank, he was an CNH rates trader in DBS Bank Hong Kong for 7 years. Mr Lo holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Hong Kong and a member of Chartered Financial Analyst.

Paul is the Club extension chair, Southern China, one of the largest and most established Toastmasters Clubs in Hong Kong. As a communications consultant and coach by profession, he has accumulated a wide range of experiences within banking, asset management and cryptocurrency before focusing on lifting the professional impact of technical professionals. Paul has trained individuals at organisations such as McKinsey, Morgan Stanley and CVC; he was previously a SFC License 1,4,9 holder, and remains a CPA Australia Charter holder.

Mike Pun is the Head of Global Intermediary Services (GIS) in Asia Pacific under the FX, EM Rates & Commodities business in HSBC. The focus of the GIS business is to create and provide innovative solutions and services to satisfy clients’ needs of executing FX, EM rates and Commodities trades in developed and emerging markets. Mike is based in HK and he has worked in various roles in the Markets and Securities Services businesses in HSBC covering FX and Asset Servicing in Asia and the Middle East.

Ken Cheung joined Mizuho Bank in 2015. Based in Hong Kong, he covers Asian FX market and specializes in RMB and HKD markets. He is in charge of various Asian FX research publications and actively engages in client visits and seminars He has been frequently cited by international media including Bloomberg, Reuters，Financial Times and Wall Street Journal. He also shows up on Bloomberg TV, CNBC and other local TV channels, and contributes articles to NNA magazine (a famous Japanese media) Prior to Mizuho Bank, he was working with Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank, covering the G10 and Asian FX macro analysis He received his Master of Philosophy (Economics) and Bachelor of Social Science (Economics) degrees from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is also a CFA charter holder

Zenith Choi's current asset management company has set up 3 new limited partnership funds and 1 open end funds. During 1990-2004, Zenith worked as an inter bank FX trader and FI sales.  The banks provided liquidities to banks and US investment houses. Zenith is familiar with the characteristics and mechanism of how the FX market works. After leaving inter bank market, Zenith started to handle high net worth individual clients and introduced different FX strategies, as well as different derivatives to clients in order to enhance their investment yield and diversified their portfolio.  Most of them generated consistent return through many financial crisis

Paul has over 8 years in blockchain and crypto industry. He started his journey with bitcoin mining and after that invested in over 150 blockchain, crypto and NFT projects. His outstanding market sense bring great success in his blockchain investment.

With his success with in blockchain with Times Capital, Paul started several blockchain company in OTC, NFT and metaverse field. He is also advisor of several blockchain projects.

Besides blockchain industry, Paul also participates in art industry. He advises art-tech project Zhen and co-founded art gallery Nothing at All.

Marco Lim has over 14 years of experience overseeing electronic sales and trading operations in institutional fixed income, commodities, currencies with major financial institutions. Prior to joining MaiCapital, a Hong Kong licensed blockchain-focused asset manager. He was the Head of North Asia Fixed Income, Commodities, Currencies electronic distribution for Goldman Sachs Asia LLC. Mr. Lim is the co-fund manager for Blockchain Opportunity Fund and the fund manager for the Bitcoin Plus Investment Fund.
