Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC)
Mark joined VFMC in April 2018 as Head of Investment Risk. He is also currently an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Centre for Quantitative Finance and Investment Strategies at Monash University. Prior to his current role, Mark was Head of FICC Structuring at the National Australia Bank from 2010 to 2017, where he built a leading securitisation swap business in both Australia and the UK. From 2004 to 2010 Mark held various roles at NAB in both Front Office and Market Risk.
Mark holds Bachelor degrees in Law and Science (both with Honours) from Monash University and a PhD in Mathematics jointly from the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics and the Free University of Berlin, Germany. Mark is also the co-author of a recent book on securitisation swaps which was published by Wiley Finance in March 2019.

Daniel is the Head of FX and G3 Research for the ANZ Bank. His team is responsible for forecasting the outlook for the major global economies and FX markets. In particular they focus on what the major macro trends evolving offshore mean for ANZ’s core markets in Australasia. More particularly, Daniel’s research focuses on exploring the impact of the global cycle on broad market trends, with a specific focus on the USD and AUD.
He provides advice across all client segments of ANZ. Since joining ANZ the team has consistently achieved strong ratings for AUD research in the Kanganews, Asiamoney and Peter Lee surveys.

Bill Goodbody, Jr. is the Chief Operating Officer and advisor to the Board of AE Capital. Bill is responsible for Risk & Compliance, Investor Relations and all day-to-day operations of the business.
Bill has 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and joined AE Capital in November 2017.
Prior to joining AE Capital, Bill was Senior Vice President & Head of Foreign Exchange at Bats Global Markets, Inc. in New York. Bill joined Bats in March 2015 as part of its acquisition of the Hotspot FX business from KCG Holdings, a business that Bill led since 2008. Before Hotspot, Bill spent more than 15 years in senior leadership roles within the Equities businesses of KCG Holdings, Knight Capital Group and Jefferies & Company.
Bill was a founding member and Secretary of the Foreign Exchange Professionals Association (FXPA), an organisation which represents the interests of FX industry participants. Bill has also previously served as a director on the boards of NSX Holdings, Inc., and the National Stock Exchange, Inc., an electronic stock exchange in the United States.

Mr. Harrex joined P/E Investments in 2012 to lead Australia and New Zealand investor services and champion the development of FX Overlay services. Mr Harrex served as a Partner of Mercer's Investment Consulting business and Regional Head of Mercer's Tools business from 2006 – 2011. He served as CIO and Head of Investment Consulting at United Funds Management and Mellon HR&IS from 2003– 2006. From 1999 to 2002, Mr. Harrex served as General Manager Treasury & Portfolio Services at Treasury Corporation of Victoria. Mr. Harrex was Manager of Fixed Interest and Currency at both AMP from 1985 to 1995 as well as Colonial from 1995 to 1996. Dr Alex Joiner is the Chief Economist at IFM Investors and also sits on its Investment Committee. He has over 15 years professional experience and prior to joining IFM Investors, Alex was the Chief Economist (Australian & New Zealand) at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, a senior economist at ANZ Bank and an economist at the Victorian Department of Treasury. Vishal Mehta, based in Singapore, is Heineken’s Head of Global Audit for Asia Pacific. He has deep expertise in audit and risk management in the consumer goods and life sciences sectors. In his career spanning 3 decades he has focused on maximizing the effectiveness of assurance provided by corporate audit and strengthening the second and third lines of defense within organizations.

Iris Pang joined ING in June 2017 as economist for Greater China. She is responsible for research on the macro-economic and industry trends in the Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Research reports from Iris are shared with ING clients on a regular basis. She is also often interviewed by the media and invited to contribute regular commentary.
Before joining ING, Iris held a similar position at Natixis between January 2016 and June 2017. Prior to that, she was with OCBC Wing Hang Bank in a similar role for almost a decade.
Iris holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), Masters in Commerce (first class honours) from the University of Auckland, and a Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of New South Wales.

Matthew is Chief Economist for QIC, one of Australia’s largest institutional funds managers, where he oversees global economic forecasting and research.
Matthew previously worked with fund manager TGM, where he headed the economic and financial-market forecasting team.
Prior to joining TGM, Matthew was Senior Research Fellow at Monash University. Here, he led the development of a regional model of the Australian economy. This model is widely used by Federal and State Government agencies and by most large consultancy firms.
Matthew and his team are among Australia’s top forecasters as ranked by Bloomberg. He is president of the Queensland Economic and Finance Council. Matthew is also an American Chamber of Commerce Governor and CEDA trustee Matthew is a frequent commentator in the press and at industry forums and has 20 years of economic modelling experience in both industry and academia.

Ken Pholsena has worked at Active Super (formerly LGS) since 2009, currently as Portfolio Manager heading Managed Cash, Short Term Fixed Interest, Bonds, Liquid Alternatives Sector and Currency Management. He is co-Sector Head with the CIO in Australian and International Equity as well as being part of Asset Allocation Team. Peter Pontikis is a Fintech and Treasury Investment Management professional has close to 40 years’ buy and sell side experience in Australian, Indian & SE Asian financial markets.
With the first three decades focused on investment, corporate dealing, trading and research experience in currencies and global financial markets. Until 2005 he also ran a consultancy advising Asian central banks and fund managers. Aside from several degrees in Finance and Economics, he is a Fellow of CPA Australia and Senior Fellow of FINSIA and has authored several books on foreign exchange and trading in financial markets as well as producing training material on Chinese Financial Markets.

Over the last 5 years, he transformed the IA & Risk function from a compliance checker to a proactive and business connected advisor on process, risks and value creation to enable secure and efficient business growth.
In his previous roles, he has been the former Head of Internal Audit of JAPFA Ltd, a Agri-food major listed in Singapore stock exchange with over USD 4 billion in net revenues. Prior to JAPFA, he was with Danone managing the Singapore IA Department, covering 50 countries under his remit across Dairy, Baby nutrition, Waters & medical nutrition (pharma) verticals. He later became the Head of Business Finance and Operations of Baby Nutrition operations of Singapore & parts of Indonesia. He was with Delphi Corp. In January 2014, Gopul joined Golden Agri-Resources Limited, Singapore to head the Global Treasury and Trade Finance business. His aim is to align the business to international standards and practices with a focus on revenue generation and risk management, which he successfully accomplished at Cargill. Prior to joining Golden Agri, Gopul spent 10 years at Cargill’s proprietary structured funding, treasury, emerging markets trading, and risk management group. Prior to Cargill, Gopul worked in Thailand, Singapore and USA on corporate, project and trade financing, international commodities trading, mergers and acquisition, proprietary fixed income and money markets.

Edoardo Sirtori is Group Vice President and Head of Treasury Asia at STMicroelectronics based in Singapore. Prior to STMicroelectronics, Edoardo held positions in corporate banking, structured finance and treasury at Banca Commerciale Italiana (now Intesa Sanpaolo). He has a degree in economics from Edinburgh University and a Master of Finance from the Cass Business School in London. Edoardo is currently an executive committee member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (Singapore).

Keeve has been with OCBC since 2018 and is currently the Managing Director, Greater China and North Asia at Bank of Singapore.
Prior to his appointment at Bank of Singapore - the Private Banking arm of OCBC group, Keeve was Head of Futures, FX & CFD for OCBC Securities. There he looked after about 40 people over the three business lines, where he oversaw the growth and development of the cleared Futures, OTC FX and Contract for Differences (CFD) businesses.
Prior to joining OCBC, he was the Director of Sales at UOB Global Markets, looking after the global Business Development of listed derivatives and OTC clearing for UOB. Keeve was before that, a trader in proprietary trading firms, heading market-making desks and algorithmic trading desks. His buy-side experience coupled with his current role in the sell-side gives him a wholesome view of the industry and its developments.
Keeve is married and has a daughter. He holds a BSc with honors from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and graduated with an MBA on the Dean's List from the Singapore Management University (SMU). Leo Tay is Managing Director and Head of FX, Rates and Derivatives Trading in ING, based in Singapore. He leads a team of traders across five locations, and is responsible for the electronification of the FX Rates trading business. He is also the digital asset champion for the bank, sponsoring the development of digital asset ecosystem in Asia.
Leo holds an M.Sc. in Financial Mathematics from the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern in Germany, and is a guest lecturer in Financial Economics in the Ateneo de Manila University.

Simon has more than 25 years financial markets experience and has held roles specialising in quantitative and fundamental portfolio management and execution, risk management, system development, product and solution development.
Prior to working at Plato, Simon was Head of Portfolio Management at Omega which included oversight of portfolio management activities at Omega. He had hands on involvement in portfolio construction and management, system and risk model design and development, attribution analysis, and strategy research.
