Khandelia holds a master's degree in applied computing technologies from Northumbria University.

Chris Turner is global head of markets and regional head of research for the UK, and central and eastern Europe. He and his team provide short- and medium-term foreign exchange recommendations for ING's corporate and institutional client base. Prior to joining ING in 2005, he was a senior partner and head of FX research at IDEAglobal, a research consultancy specialising in independent financial market research for the investment banking, hedge fund and central bank community. Turner holds a bachelor of science degree in economics and accounting from Bristol University.

Jerome Kemp is president of Baton Systems. Prior to his current tenure, Jerome was an independent consultant and senior advisor to the company. Kemp has over 35 years’ experience in capital markets and has previously held the position of global head of futures, clearing and collateral at Citi, with his responsibilities expanding in 2018 to cover the bank’s foreign exchange prime brokerage business. During this time, he built the cleared derivatives business to a position of global leadership. Kemp also spent 18 years at JP Morgan, where he rose to global co-head of the futures and options and over-the-counter clearing business. He was chair of the Futures Industry Association Board from 2018 to 2020. Kemp holds a bachelor's degree from Brandeis University and a master's degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.

Roland White is global head of institutional sales at LMAX Exchange. He is responsible for advancing LMAX Exchange's global growth agenda in the institutional segment, leading the institutional sales team and deepening relationships with institutions internationally. White has 28 years of institutional foreign exchange expertise and a wealth of capital markets experience from a career spent leading FX sales and trading desks at major global banks and FX brokers. Prior to joining LMAX Exchange, he was head of electronic FX sales at Commerzbank and led international sales teams at EBS, Cognotec, Reuters, Citigroup and Standard Chartered. In addition, White served as vice-president of the financial markets association, ACI UK, between 2002 and 2007.

Sven Schubert is senior investment strategist in the multi-asset investment department at Vontobel Asset Management. He joined the organisation in July 2011 as a currency specialist and economist for emerging markets. Prior to joining Vontobel, Schubert worked at Credit Suisse Private Banking for over six years, as an emerging markets and FX strategist. In 2005 he joined Credit Suisse's PhD programme and worked as emerging markets economist. From 2000 to 2004, Schubert worked in various positions for Dresdner Bank, the German Institute of Economic Research and the Max Planck Institute. He holds a master's degree and PhD in economics from the Free University of Berlin.

Richard de Roos

Richard de Roos is head of corporate and investment banking operations at Standard Bank. He joined the Standard Bank foreign exchange dealing team in Cape Town, South Africa, in 1985 before being transferred to Botswana as head of global markets in 1992. De Roos returned to South Africa in 1995, working in various capacities in FX sales before being appointed head of FX sales in 2000 and then head of FX in 2006. He assumed responsibility for liquid FX in Standard Bank’s international offices in 2010, and in 2014 was tasked with the responsibility for FX in Standard Bank’s 'rest of Africa' businesses. In 2017 he was appointed group head of FX, taking responsibility for all aspects of FX Across the Standard Bank Group.

Andrea Maechler

Andrea Maechler is a member of the governing board at the Swiss National Bank (SNB), the first woman to occupy a board position. She is also head of the bank's Department III (money markets, foreign exchange, asset management, banking operations and IT). Maechler's early career took her to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, the UN Conference on Trade and Development  and the World Trade Organization. From 1999 to 2001, she worked as an economist at the SNB Financial Stability unit. Maechler then moved to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), where she occupied a number of senior positions. From 2012 to 2014, during a sabbatical from the IMF, she worked for the European Systemic Risk Board. Upon returning to the IMF, she was appointed deputy division chief in the global markets analysis division. Maechler studied economics at the University of Toronto, and then at the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva, where she obtained her master's degree in international economics. Following a period of study at the Institute of Advanced Studies in Public Administration in Lausanne, she obtained a PhD in international economics from the University of California, in 2000. Maechler is a member of the Advisory Board of the Department of Banking and Finance at the University of Zurich.

Asif Razaq is an experienced foreign exchange algo trader with over 15 years of experience developing electronic trading platforms. He has a masters of science degree in artificial intelligence (AI) and joined BNP Paribas from Citi, where he worked on various initiatives including e-FX pricing engines and algorithmic trading. Utilising his experience in AI, Razaq developed and launched Cortex iX, a cutting-edge FX algorithmic execution platform that has been highly acclaimed by clients and industry experts globally.

Tobias started his professional career with Eurex Sales Asia in 2013 to work on major strategic trading and clearing projects.

Roel Oomen

Roel is the global head of fixed income and currencies quantitative trading at Deutsche Bank. He started his industry career as a quant in electronic cash equity trading in 2006 and subsequently held various roles in electronic FX spot trading, including co-head of the business. Oomen holds a PhD in econometrics, is a senior research fellow at the London School of Economics and has been published widely on the econometric analysis of high-frequency data and FX trading.

Loic Moreau is global head of risk and operations at LCH ForexClear. He is responsible for overseeing the global risk and operations teams in London, New York and Sydney. Before joining ForexClear as a risk manager in 2011, Moreau developed risk and trading pricing models at Barclays. David Page is head of macroeconomic research at AXA Investment Managers. He manages a global team of 10 economists and strategists, is a regular guest on Bloomberg TV and other global media. Page joined AXA Investment Managers in July 2014 as a senior economist to provide economics coverage on US and UK economies. He has written extensively on the US economy, covering elections, fundamental monetary policy debates and issues of fiscal stimulus. Before joining AXA Investment Managers, Page worked for four years at Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking as a senior economist, primarily covering the UK economy. During this time, he was twice voted the top forecaster in the region in 2011 and 2012 (and came third in 2013). Prior to this, Page worked for 10 years at Investec Bank as a global economist, primarily covering the UK and European economies. Before this, he spent five years in the Government Economic Service, initially working for the energy regulator before joining the UK Debt Management Office – an executive agency of HM Treasury – at its inception in 1998, considering issues of primary issuance for the UK gilt market. Page holds a masters of science degree in economics from the University of Warwick, UK and a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of York.

Elliot Hentov is head of macro policy research in State Street Global Advisors' global macro team. He is responsible for research and thought leadership, linking policy impulses to financial markets and economics, and is the company's chief geopolitical strategist. Hentov joined State Street from Standard & Poor's sovereign ratings group where he was a director and lead analyst for sovereigns and government-related entities in central, eastern and Mediterranean Europe. Before that, he served as a political affairs officer at the UN's headquarters in New York, advising senior officials on political and economic issues in the Middle East and Europe. Hentov holds a PhD from Princeton University and a master's degree in international affairs from Georgetown University and has authored publications in the Financial Times, the New York Times, the Business TimesForeign Policy, and Washington Quarterly. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum in London and a non-resident fellow at the Middle East Institute in Washington, DC.

Alexander McDonald has been CEO of European Venues and Intermediaries Association (“EVIA”), since 2009. In the decade until 2020 he was also responsible for SONIA which was subsequently taken over by Bank of England as the UK RFR. Prior to joining WMBA, Alex has spent his career as Managing Director in the Treasury and Trading divisions of JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse, before moving into Fund Management where he worked for Bluecrest, Olea and BSAM as either Portfolio Manager or Principle. He holds an MA from Cambridge University in Geophysics/Geochemistry. He has over twenty years of experience as a market maker, franchise leader, macro trader and portfolio manager, focusing on risk in commodities, fixed income and currencies worldwide. Additionally, he was a director, in charge of Emerging Markets and currency trading at CSFB for eight years, and prior to that he was Executive Director at Goldman Sachs on their fixed-income proprietary trading desk.
